Courses;
​
Business for Actors: Course focus on expectations of entering the theater industry on a professional level including auditions, repertoire books, resumes, self-tapes, personal financing and research.
​
Directing: Course focus includes extensive research and analysis of plays by the students’ choosing, extra attention on playwrights’ intentions, stage pictures, storytelling, levels, use of space, in class rehearsals and feedback. The final exam of the class required each student to cast and direct a scene from the play of their choosing.
Acting III: Course focus includes the techniques of Sanford Meisner and Uta Hagan and applying the repetition and six steps to contemporary theater scenes.

Acting IV: Course focuses on the techniques of Stanislavksi and applying the “act of doing” to scenes of the American Canon including plays by Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Lillian Hellman and Eugene O’Neill.
Shakespeare Performance: Course focuses on learning to interpret texts from the First Folio and mapping out the rhythms and meaning behind the grammatical clues left by Shakespeare and applying them to monologues and scene work.
Improvisation: Course focus split between short form improv and long form improv. The first half of the class was focused on learning the fundamentals of improvisation through small scenes, games and exercises which culminated in a midterm performance of a short form show. The second half of class was focused on long form improvisation which included the class learning and performing both a “Harold” and an “Armando” for a live audience.

Pittsburgh CLO Academy Triple Threat Boot Camp, Pittsburgh PA Acting Teacher (2018)
Responsible for leading multiple three-day acting workshops with students ages 10-18. Introduced students to Stanislavski based acting approaches such as reaction and response, objectives, and tactics, and creating given circumstances to inform choices. Created a safe environment for students to explore and experiment with different choices through improvisational games and open scene work.
Camp Ren at Shady Side Academy, Fox Chapel PA Drama Specialist (2018)
Responsible for conducting improvisational and performance activities in sixty minute blocks with multiple groups of campers, grade levels ranging from rising 6th grade to rising 9th grade as well as organizing an end of the season talent show for campers.
